Dr. Hadi Salehi is an assistant professor in the Department of Civil Engineering and Construction Engineering Technology and Institute for Micromanufacturing at Louisiana Tech University. His research interests lie in the areas of intelligent structures, energy harvesting, self-powered sensing, multifunctional materials, robotics, and data-driven modeling. He is interested in the development of intelligent systems that can seamlessly integrate self-sensing and multifunctional abilities while autonomously providing long-term monitoring data, boosting the resilience and sustainability of the built environment. Dr. Salehi received his PhD in Civil Engineering from Michigan State University. He completed his postdoctoral fellow at the University of Michigan. He also holds MSc degrees in Civil Engineering from Michigan State University and Amirkabir University of Technology.
